AZIA - Experimental Farm "Antonio Servadei"
The Experimental Farm "Antonio Servadei" of the University of Udine was established in 1987 and began its operations in the spring of 1988. Named after the first rector of the University, it comprises two estates totaling approximately 70 hectares. The Sant'Osvaldo estate, located on the southern outskirts of Udine, is dedicated to plant production and processing. The second estate, located in Pagnacco, north of the Friulian capital, is reserved for animal husbandry and aquaculture. The facilities are available to students and faculty for educational, research, and experimental activities. It conducts experimental and productive activities in agronomy, including field crops, tree crops, vineyards, protected crops, and processing.
