LEGITA Engages with Farmers

On December 20th, 2024, in Rivignano Teor (UD), it took place a meeting between the researchers of the LEGITA project and a group of farmers from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region which grow chickpeas on their farms and actively collaborate with the project.

During the meeting, the researchers presented and discussed with the farmers the main results emerging from their experiments. The event proved particularly fruitful in gathering the farmers’ opinions and concerns regarding the project's central themes. A constructive dialogue emerged, positioning the farmers as key protagonists of agroecological innovation and highlighting the importance of a shared and collaborative approach to sustainable agricultural development in the region.
